Year 2000 Douglas County Fair

	The Douglas County Fair in Roseburg was a large very well organized County Fair. It is right next to the Douglas County Museum and the freeway.
	Nice wide open clean walking around area.
	Great food area with many local vendors. Lots of sitting room.
	Bingo at the fair. This is the first time we saw this. Seems like this could be a good revenue producer for the fairs.
	This night Joan Jett and the BlackHearts were performing at the large open air arena. I'll bet the music was loud.
	Here is Ken playing with bubbles in "Kidsville". This is a good thing to have for the kids. There are about a dozen different science examples to play with.
	Grace MountainSpring with her racing pigeon. It doesn't have a name yet because we don't know if it is a boy or a girl pigeon. Grace was an excellent 4H ambassador.
	The Douglas County Fair is the first fair we have been to that has large stalls for the sheep and goats. We like the open feeling.
	Here's the boys dorm. Most of the Fairs have buildings for boys and girls to sleep over. Many 4H members also sleep in tents out on the grounds somewhere.
	More calves just a few weeks old.
