Picture of Harney County fairgrounds. The Harney County fair in Burns is a large fair. The fairgrounds are roomy with lots of parking. They have a large amusement area. The weather was perfect.

Here we have Brianna Tummonds. Brianna's 4H project is the Nubian Goat who's name is Beetle. 6 weeks ago Beetle had Bumble. This little kid was jumping all over and landing not too securely. It was fun to watch. Just think every spring little goats appear.

Picture of 2 ladies with llama. This is Judy Miller on the left and Anne Sheeter on the right.. They have a business in Burns called Burns Llama Trailblazers. They breed champion halter and performance llamas. This charming 2 year old in the middle is Sebastian. That age is equivalent to a teenager...with the associated growing up issues.

Picture of the Crisp family. Here we have some members of the Crane Sheep Club. In the front row we have Josh Crisp on the left. Levi Crisp in the middle, and Bri Crisp on the right. In the back we have Debra Kryger on the left, Deb Crisp (mom) in the middle and Terry Crisp (dad) on the right.
Picture of police parade directors Before the parade begins Kenton Dick, on the left, the area coordinator has to give the go-ahead. Aaron D. Richardson, the Burns chief of police is in charge of all the crowd control and rerouting traffic through downtown during the parade.
Picture of parade The 4H have many worthwhile programs. These dogs are guide dogs for the blind. They have been trained in a 4H program that is available throughout the state.

Picture of Shriners on go-carts. The Shriners have a network of 22 hospitals that provide expert, no-cost orthopaedic and burn care to children under 18. And...they get to ride around in these little go-carts. These guys were the Central Oregon Shriners.
Picture of High School football team. The Burns High School football team with cheerleaders had their own float. The night before they beat Madras 37-15. They were tired but game for the parade.
