Picture of Abert Rim. There's snow in them thar hills. Our trip to the Lake County Fair in Lakeview started out cold. As we were driving over from Bend just before sunup the temperature dropped to below freezing. These hills just North of Lakeview are part of the Abert Rim. To make matters worse for the fine folks in Lakeview, they received over 1 inch of rain the day before our visit.

The rain really dampened the Rodeo arena. However everyone pulled together and the show went on. Country music sensation, Mark Chestnut performed Saturday night.
Sunday and Monday the annual Bull Macarena and Bull Poker went on without a hitch.
